A Bit About Me
I love California. From Coronado to the Oregon border, I've had a lifelong love affair with the state. I had the typical Southern California suburban childhood. I rode my bicycle through newly built suburbs. I went sport fishing with my grandfather and cousins from Malibu to San Clemente, and seemed to spend most of my childhood sitting in the back seat of the family car with my two sisters.

When we moved to Northern California in 1969, I fell in love with San Francisco. I learned to drive around Saratoga, learned to dive off of Monterey and learned to appreciate the central valley farmbelt. San Francisco, when I was a teenager, was like the set of a movie. I felt like Steve McQueen in Bullitt the first time I drove through the streets of San Francisco.

Although I'm a life-long Republican, I only got involved in the political scene twenty-some years ago. I got involved actively in politics for the same reason a lot of people get involved --I was irate about a single issue. Experience taught me we need to care about more than one, or two, hot-button issues. We need to care about the big picture, and focus on what makes --and made-- California great. I want future teenagers to have that moment, driving to Santa Cruz, thinking the whole world is there for the taking.
Call me crazy, but after twenty-plus years actively involved in California politics and a lifetime watching my friends move out of state, I still believe in the California Dream and the Spirit of California. Sure, we have problems, but we can fix our problems by, getting creative, thinking outside the box, and working together for our shared goals.

Observed first election as a nine year old when Ronald Reagan was elected governor of California
Became politically awake in the late eighties when George Bush ran against Michael Dukakis for President.
First became involved with the Marin County Republican Central Committee. I was very unhappy with Governor Davis's policies, most notably drivers' licenses for non-citizens. I quickly found, however, that it wasn't just about one issue and that we had far larger and more important issues that needed to be addressed in our once golden state.
Elected Treasurer of the Marin County Republican Central Committee. At the time, I had no idea what I was getting into, but no one else wanted the job. Since 2007 I have served in every position on the committee from Treasurer, to Vice Chair, to Chair, to Secretary and Vice Chair again.
First became a delegate to the California Republican Party as a result of being elected Treasurer of the MCRCC. Since then I have been appointed as a delegate in every election cycle. In addition to this I also served on the State Party Budget Committee in 2013.
Became a professional Treasurer assisting a dozen different California Central Committees with their monthly compliance obligations. Over the years the business has grown to include candidate committees, political action committees and lobbying firms.
Became Chairman of the California Republican Party's County Treasurers' Association.
Served as chair of the CAGOP county treasurer's association.
Formed my first PAC. Since then I have raised, spent, and contributed almost one million dollars to the Republican cause in California.
Formed a federal Super PAC in 2018 to support federal candidates including Michelle Steel for Congress and Donald Trump for president in 2020, and John Duarte for Congress in 2022
Became a member of the State Party's Executive Committee by virtue of being treasurer of the county chairmen's association.
Walked precincts for the sole Republican candidate to be elected in Marin County in the 2022 General Election.
Founded Spirit of California.
